1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using VettedImport ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
VettedImport provides supply chain compliance screening tools for importers. The Service screens supplier names against the DHS UFLPA Entity List, OFAC SDN database, and other sanctions lists using fuzzy matching algorithms. The Service also provides document parsing, compliance pack generation, and ongoing monitoring features.
3. Not Legal Advice
VettedImport is a screening and documentation tool. The Service does not constitute legal advice. Screening results are based on algorithmic fuzzy matching and may produce false positives or false negatives. You are responsible for verifying all screening results and making your own compliance determinations. Consult qualified trade counsel for specific UFLPA compliance guidance.
4. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
5. Subscription and Billing
VettedImport offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.
6. Usage Limits
Each subscription tier has defined limits for screenings, suppliers, document uploads, and compliance packs. If you exceed your tier limits, you will need to upgrade to continue using those features. We reserve the right to enforce rate limits to maintain service quality.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VettedImport shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in abusive use of the Service. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
